On a scorching summer’s day, amidst the rolling hills and historic charm of Wallalong House, Kerry and Minesh tied the knot in a breathtaking black-tie wedding. While the day was all about celebrating their love, their little boy completely stole the show—and everyone’s hearts. This was a true family affair.

From the very beginning, Kerry and Minesh envisioned a luxury wedding at Wallalong House that blended classic elegance with vibrant, meaningful details. They had attended a wedding at the stunning homestead and immediately fell in love with it. They just knew it was The One! Their initial concept featured lemons, whites, and pops of orange, with a heartfelt request to incorporate marigolds, honouring Minesh’s heritage.

Working closely with them, we refined their floral vision. For the ceremony florals, we designed an all-white floral palette, perfectly complementing the sophistication of their black-tie wedding in the Hunter Valley. At the reception, we introduced a joyful burst of colour, with marigolds woven into every centerpiece, adding a personal and cultural touch to their luxury wedding flowers.

The Perfect Setting: A Dream Wedding at Wallalong House

For couples seeking a luxury wedding venue in the Hunter Valley, Wallalong House offers an unparalleled experience. Kerry and Minesh’s 85 wedding guests were comfortably seated beneath the venue’s iconic Indian tent, which overlooks breathtaking country views on one side and the pool on the other. As guests entered the reception space, they were welcomed by a scene of effortless elegance. Crisp white tablecloths draped each table, providing a timeless backdrop for the carefully curated details. Gray marbled dinner plates added a modern sophistication, perfectly complementing the ash-toned dining chairs that lined each setting. At the heart of every table, lush floral arrangements in warm orange tones bloomed in artful clusters, bringing a vibrant yet refined energy to the space. Scattered tea lights flickered like tiny stars, casting a soft, romantic glow over the tables and creating an atmosphere that was both intimate and enchanting. The adjoining second Indian tent provided a stunning space for dancing, making it the perfect setting for a high-end wedding reception at Wallalong House.

This historic wedding venue in NSW features a 5-metre concrete bar lined with old French shutters, polished concrete floors, and reclaimed timber trestle tables, creating a balance of heritage charm and luxury styling. Signature cocktails were available for everyone to enjoy. Antique wooden daybeds were scattered around the verandahs, pool, and gardens, providing cozy lounge areas for guests to relax and soak in the atmosphere.
